Gilwern House, Chester
A conversion of a Renaissance revival-style mansion, which is Listed. The project includes 15 new 3 storey townhouses built in the grounds to a sympathetic architectural style towards the Listed Building, which itself is being converted into 5 new luxury apartments. The site is under construction and careful design methods and statements have been created to satisfy the conservation officer to the detail of construction.

St Edmunds Church, Whalley Range
This is a conversion of a Grade II Listed Church to create 17 No flats. The development is designed to leave as much of the central nave area as free as possible, so that the original form of the building can be understood by visitors to the building. The apartments themselves are contemporary interventions into the historic fabric, with many original details retained throughout the building. The juxtaposition of old and new creates a historically modern atmosphere.

3-5 Edgehill Street, Manchester 3-5 Edgehill Street, Manchester
The project was to revitalize the existing warehouse by converting it into 22 apartments and with the introduction of a contemporary penthouse level. The scheme utilized a contemporary entrance and communal access pod that connects this development to the Turner street development; this created an extremely cost effective solution to our client.

8/12 Turner Street, Manchester 8/12 Turner Street, Manchester
A residential development within the Northern Quarter of Manchester. This new build scheme comprises of six storeys of 9No 2 bedroom apartments and Duplexes. The Conservation officer & English Heritage wished that the new building would echo in character of the existing warehouse building that previously occupied the site. This included designing new contemporary balconies to look like the original cast iron emergency fire escape that has become a prominent feature of the building façade.

56 High Street, Manchester 56 High Street, Manchester
The project was to create a brand new mixed-use development on a vacant plot inside the Northern Quarter Conservation Area. A scheme for 33 apartments was developed with a retail unit on the ground floor. The process was to aesthetically compliment the street scene with materials and hierarchy of openings to provide a contemporary building that fitted seamlessly into the street.

125-127 Oldham Street, Manchester 125-127 Oldham Street
The mixed-use development was an opportunity to regenerate a classic Georgian Building within the conservation area of the Northern Quarter. The challenge was to construct nine modern city centre living apartments behind a rejuvenated existing stone façade with a new contrasting, contemporary penthouse and a ground floor retail unit.
